Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a Project Engineer to support capital and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing engineering designs, supporting project execution, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The position collaborates cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and external partners to drive successful project outcomes and maintain compliance with applicable standards.

Job Duties:
  • Develop preliminary engineering designs, layouts, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and support project planning activities.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders on installation and execution.
  • Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Prepare scopes of work, evaluate proposals, and support bid and contract documentation.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and progress; provide regular status updates.
  • Perform field verification and update as-built documentation as needed.
  • Travel up to 50% to support project implementation across multiple sites.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting engineering or capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of project coordination, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
