You step into a vital leadership role where you shape the future of luxury automotive retail. As our Genesis General Sales Manager, you drive dealership success by combining strategic sales execution with exceptional client service. You inspire a high-performing team to exceed targets while delivering an unmatched luxury buying experience. Your leadership directly impacts our market share, profitability, and brand reputation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads overall dealership operations to ensure seamless daily performance across all sales departments.
  • Directs sales strategy and execution to consistently hit or exceed aggressive volume and profit targets.
  • Manages the complete P&L, optimizing revenue streams and controlling expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Oversees inventory management, ensuring optimal vehicle stock levels that align with current market demand.
  • Supervises F&I management to maintain compliance, maximize finance penetration, and secure profitable deals.
  • Drives customer retention initiatives that turn first-time buyers into lifelong brand advocates.
  • Hires, trains, and mentors sales professionals, building a cohesive team through ongoing coaching and work direction.
  • Leverages CRM software like Reynolds & Reynolds and CDK Global to track leads, monitor pipeline health, and improve closing rates.
  • Champions luxury vehicle sales standards, ensuring every client receives personalized and refined service.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefers a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Experience
  • Demonstrates at least 5 years of experience in automotive sales management within a luxury or premium brand environment.
  • Proves a strong track record in managing dealership operations and meeting P&L goals.
  • Shows extensive background in team leadership, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Masters automotive sales management, dealership operations, and inventory control.
  • Possesses deep expertise in F&I management and financial compliance.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of sales strategy and execution to drive market growth.
  • Navigates CRM software effortlessly, specifically Reynolds & Reynolds and CDK Global platforms.
  • Communicates with exceptional clarity, inspiring both team members and luxury clientele.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Brings specific experience managing a Genesis or equivalent luxury franchise.
  • Exhibits advanced proficiency in digital marketing and modern lead generation tactics.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
  • Stands and walks for extended periods during showroom floor evaluations and team meetings.
  • Works flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to match peak retail traffic times.
  • Operates in a fast-paced, high-energy indoor and outdoor dealership environment.
