Job Title: Generator Service Technician Location: West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, FL Generator Service Technician Responsibilities: A leading provider of critical power solutions is seeking a skilled Generator Service Technician to join their growing team. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge power generation systems and the opportunity to grow your technical expertise in a dynamic field-based position.

This is a remote position with regional travel. - Perform maintenance and repairs on generator systems ranging from 5kW to 5000kW, including preventative service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting - Service and repair Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), including bypass isolation and closed transition systems - Commission new generator systems, ensuring proper installation and function per manufacturer guidelines - Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gaseous engine components, such as ignition systems, fuel injection systems, and valve trains - Conduct load bank testing to verify operational readiness and compliance with applicable codes - Support other technicians on large-scale or complex service projects - Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job reporting - Communicate repair status, recommendations, and follow-ups with internal teams and customers - Adhere to safety standards and uphold company property care (vehicle, laptop, tools, etc.) Generator Service Technician Job Requirements: - 5 years of generator service or repair experience - Experience as a US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, US Navy Electrician's Mate, or Generator and/or UPS field service technician is a plus - Current Generac Power Systems certification preferred
