AI Enablement Manager
Reports To: Chief Information Officer
Location: Onsite, Fort Wayne Corporate
Position Type: Exempt
Pay - $93,750 - $111,500
Note - The salary for this position is based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and industry standards. The top of the posted pay range reflects compensation for candidates with a similar title, performing comparable duties within a similar industry, and possessing 12 or more years of experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications.
Variable Incentive Pay / Merit: This position is eligible for variable incentive pay based on individual and credit union performance. In addition, the position is also eligible for merit-based pay adjustments after the completion of one year of service, based on personal performance.
Position Summary
The AI Enablement Manager is responsible for driving enterprise-wide adoption and effective use of artificial intelligence capabilities across the organization. This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into practical AI solutions that improve productivity, decision-making, employee experiences, and member outcomes. The AI Enablement Manager leads efforts across AI strategy, business process transformation, AI adoption, training, governance, ethical AI use, and organizational readiness. This position partners with leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate opportunities, analyze current and future-state processes, curate AI use cases, and guide implementation efforts while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and responsible AI principles. This role operates as a senior individual contributor, providing expertise, influence, and leadership across departments without direct supervisory authority while enabling teams to confidently and responsibly leverage AI technologies.
Knowledge Requirements
  • Strong understanding of foundational AI concepts, generative AI technologies, and AI use cases.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, ethics, explainability, risk management, and responsible AI practices.
  • Ability to analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field required.
  • 13 months to 3 years of experience in AI enablement, business analysis, consulting, technology adoption, process improvement, innovation, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional technology or business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating training, coaching, workshops, or organizational adoption efforts preferred.
  • Experience evaluating business processes and recommending technology-enabled improvements preferred.
  • Experience working with AI, generative AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
