We are looking for a Project Engineer who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow while supporting the successful delivery of our projects. As a Project Engineer, you'll be a key part of the project management team, supporting the coordination of drawings, schedules, materials, costs, and quality throughout the life of the project. You'll assist with document control, submittals, change management, production tracking, and site coordination, while helping ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Calnin & Goss quality standards. This hands-on role offers broad exposure to the full construction process and is a great opportunity for someone who is humble, hungry, smart, reliable, and gritty, ready to learn from the field and contribute to building great projects and lasting relationships.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,000- $80,222 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
  • A four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent technical training and experience).
  • A strong appreciation for safety, ethics, and quality, with the ability to support site safety efforts and follow applicable codes and standards.
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and equipment, with a desire to build deeper technical knowledge.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience supporting documentation such as submittals, RFIs, schedules, reports, and cost tracking.
  • Willingness to be hands-on, splitting time between the office and active construction sites to support project delivery.
