Job description

Nationwide, multidisciplinary AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate Attorney to join their esteemed Trust, Estate & Wealth Preservation group. The firm offers a supportive and inclusive work environment with the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues who value teamwork and high-quality client service.

Successful candidates for the trust and estates senior associate position will have a minimum of 5 years in estate planning and drafting for clients with taxable estates, including multi-generational wealth transfer using GST-exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other complex instruments; a proven track record of direct client management responsibilities; and a proficiency in post-mortem administration and tax return preparation/review (Forms 706, 709, and 1041). This is a full-time, onsite position at the firm’s Naples, FL office.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years in estate planning and drafting for clients with taxable estates, including multi-generational wealth transfer using GST-exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other complex instruments
  • Must have a proven track record of direct client management responsibilities
  • Must have a proficiency in post-mortem administration and tax return preparation/review (Forms 706, 709, and 1041)
  • Must have a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
