Administrative Assistant

Country: United States State: Michigan City: Wixom Job Family: Finance Job Type: Permanent position Work Location: On-site Compensation: Fives DyAG Corp. is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team based out of our Wixom, MI office. This is a Part-Time position. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing the company's general administrative activities. Responsibilities are not limited to, but may include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems, coordinating with employees for weekly reporting and miscellaneous tasks associated with day-to-day operation of the business. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and office equipment. This is a part-time position: 25-28 hrs. per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel will not be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Arranges and books complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports daily
  • Collaborate with Finance Team on Outstanding Orders and Ongoing Travel Bookings
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior managers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
