Our Thoracic Surgery practice incorporates all aspects of general thoracic surgery with a large focus on oncology but also including benign diseases of the lungs, esophagus, t rachea, mediastinum, chest wall and diaphragm. This physician should be well versed in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery. Experience in endoscopic and navigational procedures is a plus. Texas Oncology, in collaboration with the world-renowned Sarah Cannon Research Institute offers a broad range of clinical trials to patients in the community setting. This practice also offers the opportunity for a physician to mentor medical students and residents in local training programs.
