Early-career cardiothoracic surgeons often face challenges such as managing complex surgical cases independently, adapting to the fast-paced operating room environment, and balancing the demands of emergency procedures with scheduled surgeries. Additionally, new surgeons must learn to handle the emotional aspects of patient outcomes while continuously developing their technical expertise.
