Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Location: Lima, Ohio 45801
Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our cardiovascular team in Lima, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to perform a wide variety of cardiothoracic procedures while working within an established cardiovascular program committed to clinical excellence. The physician will collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to provide comprehensive care throughout the surgical continuum.
Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
  • Evaluate surgical candidates and develop treatment plans.
  • Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
  • Maintain complete medical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
