Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a growing Elective and Acute General Surgery program in Arkansas. This permanent opportunity offers a predictable schedule and excellent work-life balance. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of general surgery procedures and is interested in contributing to program growth and long-term success.
Position Details
  • Practice Type: General Surgery
  • Trauma: None
  • Be part of a 2-surgeon full-time team
  • Supported opportunity to build a thriving elective practice
  • Elective GS clinic and scheduled cases on weekdays
  • Supported by our mid-level providers (NP's or PA's)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of elective general surgery procedures
  • Upper and lower endoscopy privileges are available, but not required
  • Participate in the growth and development of the elective surgery program
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Active Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current General Surgery operative experience required
