Description
You will be part of a team dedicated to creating a welcoming and engaging experience for all guests visiting the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort General Store. This role contributes to the overall success of the Resort by delivering high levels of guest satisfaction through consistent food quality and exceptional service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Keep kitchen areas clean and organized
  • Work as part of a team to ensure timely service
  • Attend to customer needs and answer any questions they may have regarding store kitchen products.
  • Receive customers and assist them with the selection of food products.
  • Help to train new kitchen staff members as requested by Lead Kitchen Associate.
  • Greet, interact, and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention.
  • Communicate information about product availability, nutritional information, and ingredients.
  • Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting and cleaning.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
  • Previous culinary experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills
