Job description

Job Summary
The Die Maker / Pack Builder is responsible for removing and installing clean packs/die, Disassembly cleaning trouble shooting and assembly of packs/dies for next install. In addition spin pumps and assist in maintenance during but not limited to machine line maintenance. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding and high-temperature environment.
Hours: This position is scheduled for 5 days per week days off optional, typically from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Weekend work is required based on maintenance cycles, production needs, and emergency call-ins.

Basic Responsibilities:
  • Remove and install packs on the 3rd floor
  • Clean, rebuild, and prepare packs for maintenance cycles
  • Troubleshoot heaters and temperature probes
  • Perform spin pump removal, cleaning, assembly, and installation
  • Work with spin shafts and gearboxes
  • Operate ovens for burnout of packs, pumps, and filter housings
  • Use forklifts to move materials and equipment
  • Assist with general mechanical maintenance and repairs
  • Follow all maintenance procedures and safety protocols
  • Support additional maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of machine operations and mechanical repair
  • Maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic electrical knowledge (220V/480V) is a plus
  • Ability to operate or learn forklift operations
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Computer literacy required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in a hot environment
  • Full body mobility including bending, lifting, and climbing stairs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be available for overtime and emergency maintenance call-ins
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn spinning processes and their effects
