Job Title: Project Manager - Integrated Solutions & Renewable Energy

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded Project Manager to join our Solar & Renewable Energy division. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, leading project coordination, technical planning, scope development, quoting, and execution to ensure the successful delivery of integrated power solutions.

Working closely with customers, engineering, operations, procurement, and vendors, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality skidded power systems, including solar power conversion systems, switchboards, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other integrated platform-based solutions. This position is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary customer contact from project kickoff through completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of project issues.
  • Coordinate customer communications during First Article Inspections (FAIs) and act as the liaison between customers and operations.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully execute customer projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, technical requirements, and quality objectives.
  • Monitor key project cost drivers and communicate risks or changes as needed.
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to integrated platform assembly and technical work processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to procure materials and specialized integration services.

Project Scope & Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define detailed project requirements and scope.
  • Ensure project scope aligns with customer expectations, engineering capabilities, and business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle and facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and customers.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Management

  • Partner with Engineering to develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to optimize material selection, availability, and cost.

Quoting & Cost Estimating

  • Support the Business Development team in preparing accurate, competitive project quotations.
  • Review project scope and BOMs to ensure pricing reflects technical requirements and customer expectations.
  • Provide clear cost breakdowns and technical explanations during customer quote reviews.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, electrical systems, renewable energy, industrial equipment, or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and customers.
  • Experience with ERP platforms & systems.
  • Experience with electrical systems, renewable energy, power distribution, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or integrated skidded solutions is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-20% for customer meetings, supplier visits, and First Article Inspections.
