DMS Sales Manager, Marine Dealership Industry

Marine OEM experience and industry relationships are REQUIRED.

Location: Based in FL - Work from home
Travel: Approximately 10-15% for industry events, OEM meetings, customer visits, and/or team development.

Lead a High-Performing Sales Team in the Marine Industry

We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Marine ZiiDMS (Dealer Management System) sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader with deep industry expertise, established OEM relationships, and a passion for coaching sales professionals to exceed their goals.

In this role, you'll lead a team of Regional Sales Representatives focused on acquiring new dealership customers, while also serving as a strategic partner to major OEMs and industry stakeholders. You'll help shape sales strategy, develop talent, strengthen OEM partnerships, and drive continued growth across North America.

If you've successfully led software or technology sales teams within the marine dealership industry—and have the credibility and relationships to influence OEMs and dealers alike—we'd love to hear from you.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Sales Representatives focused on new business acquisition.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor top-performing sales talent.

  • Establish sales objectives, monitor performance, and hold the team accountable for achieving revenue goals.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans designed to exceed company growth objectives.

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain executive-level relationships with OEM partners and other key industry organizations.

  • Partner with OEM representatives to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.

  • Coach sales representatives through complex sales cycles, negotiations, and enterprise-level opportunities.

  • Analyze pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and ensure accurate opportunity management within Salesforce.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to improve sales effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, OEM meetings, and customer events.

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture.

Position Qualifications
  • Required: Marine industry experience with established OEM relationships.

  • Required: Experience managing or leading a B2B software, SaaS, DMS, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise technology sales team.

  • Proven success leading sales professionals to consistently exceed revenue goals.

  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and dealership management software.

  • Demonstrated experience selling complex technology solutions with long sales cycles.

  • Excellent coaching, leadership, and talent development skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.

  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15%.
