Job description

Job Description Fabletics is looking for a Manager, Logistics Operations. How do you fit in? Fabletics is looking for a Manager, Logistics Operations, to own our origin transportation operations across ocean and air. This role is responsible for setting up and managing carrier relationships at origin, including new sourcing origins, driving carrier performance through data and structured business reviews, and ensuring bookings move smoothly from request to confirmation to keep sailings and flights on schedule. The ideal candidate combines deep freight operations expertise (ocean, air, rates, trade compliance) with a builder's mindset: someone who can map out how a workflow currently runs, spot where it's inefficient, and implement a better version, including using AI and automation tools to reduce manual work. This is a highly cross-functional, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives owning a program end to end. Manager, Logistics Operations will report to Director, Logistics Operations.

What you will do:
  • Set up new origin lanes — establishing ocean and air operations with carriers when sourcing shifts to a new origin country.
  • Own ocean and air carrier KPI management, combining internal data with carrier-reported performance to drive accountability.
  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with carriers — covering KPI trends, alignment to the company roadmap, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Manage the end-to-end booking process for ocean and air, ensuring requests and confirmations happen in time to meet sailings and flight departures.
  • Oversee shipment tracking for key retail accounts, including Costco.
  • Build strong partnerships across business functional areas and with carrier/vendor partners.
  • Contribute valuable insights to cross-functional projects.
  • Optimize transportation routes and workflows while proactively mitigating risk.
  • Support carrier contract negotiations.
  • Process-map existing workflows, recommend optimizations, and implement improvements — including automation and AI-driven tools — to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure trade compliance for import and export activity at origin.
  • As a Function Manager level in the organization, you are responsible and accountable for large projects or processes as a direct contributor to team and some department milestones, working with a high level of autonomy.
What you can bring:
  • 5–7 years of experience with international and domestic freight modes (ocean and air).
  • 5–7 years of experience with rate methodology.
  • 5–7 years of experience with trade compliance for importing and exporting.
  • Experience managing carrier relationships, including KPI management and leading MBRs/QBRs.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience or strong interest in workflow automation and AI tools, with a track record of process mapping and implementing operational improvements.
  • Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.
