We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (HVAC/Nexstar) to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Residential HVAC service operations, including financial management, customer service, and team development. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to implement strategies that enhance performance, productivity, and profitability. This position requires a strong understanding of the HVAC industry, a background in service management, and proficiency in ServiceTitan software.

Responsibilities:

  1. 1. Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  2. 2. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  3. 3. Manage financial aspects of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  4. 4. Utilize ServiceTitan software to manage service schedules, dispatching, invoicing, and customer management.
  5. 5. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing service team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  6. 6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  7. 7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  8. 8. Analyze performance metrics and implement necessary changes to improve service delivery.
  9. 9. Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with the overall company strategy.

Qualifications:

  1. 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service management.
  2. 2. Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  3. 3. Proficiency in ServiceTitan software is a must.
  4. 4. Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  5. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  6. 6. Exceptional customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  7. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze performance metrics and implement effective solutions.

  9. 9. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
