Senior Commercial Glazing Project Manager - Glazing - Base Salary to 110k/year - Marietta, GA

  • Our client is a well-established commercial glass and glazing contractor serving the Metro Atlanta market. Known for delivering high-quality commercial glazing solutions, they are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Glazing Project Manager to oversee complex projects while providing leadership and mentorship to project management staff.
  • This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial glazing professional who enjoys leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as a technical resource for both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple commercial glazing projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement activities, and overall project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, billing, and profitability while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate closely with field operations to ensure successful project execution and timely communication.
  • Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers while supporting their professional development.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
  • Ensure all commercial glazing projects are completed safely, accurately, and to client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience with significant commercial glazing experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial glass and glazing projects including storefront, curtain wall, entrances, windows, and related glazing systems.
  • Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, or developing Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, or project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial glazing project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial glazing projects.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, contract administration, and change order management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and Procore.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is welcomed; equivalent commercial glazing project management experience is equally valued.
  • Ability to travel to active commercial construction job sites.
  • Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders, and navigate varying terrain.
  • Ability to work outdoors during site visits in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
