Job description

The Sr. Director of Operations will take full ownership of daily operations at a single food manufacturing facility, including production, cost controls, planning, and execution. This person manages everything inside the four walls and partners closely with sales, finance, R&D, and HR.

Direct reports include the Director of Operations, Director of QA, Director of Safety, S&R Manager, Operations Manager, and approximately 175 hourly employees total.

Company Overview

PE-backed food manufacturing operation specializing in boutique, high-touch, handmade food products. The Atlanta-area facility is the company's largest industrial site with 175 hourly workers. High-mix, low-volume environment that demands flexibility, speed, and adaptability. SQF certified. Strong food safety and quality teams already in place. The company is mid-restructuring and building toward a more integrated, performance-driven organization.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in food manufacturing
  • Full P&L accountability experience required

  • SQF, HACCP, USDA, FDA, or GFSI knowledge
