As the President & General Manager of our local television station and digital media platforms in Monterey/Salinas, CA (KSBW-TV), you'll lead the charge in advancing the mission of broadcasting excellence. The ideal candidate will harness exceptional strategic vision, drive revenue growth, and embody a deep understanding of the overarching possibilities of the broadcast industry. KSBW-TV, an esteemed NBC/ABC/Estrella affiliate, is committed to delivering top-quality news and robust community involvement.
Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead station success, driving accountability for news, programming, sales, marketing, and technology across all platforms.
  • Innovate short- and long-term strategies for revenue and audience engagement expansion.
  • Architect plans for revenue enhancement, tapping into core and emerging media opportunities.
  • Manage budgets with precision to ensure accurate forecasting and sustainable growth.
  • Cultivate community engagement to strengthen ties with advertisers, viewers, partners, and community leaders.
  • Develop team skills in a collaborative, innovative, and excellence-driven environment.
  • Uphold FCC regulations and industry standards while fortifying relationships with government and affiliate contacts.

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $225,000 - $275,000.The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
