Location: Huntsville, AL

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/year (DOE)

Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Flexible Scheduling, Work/Life Balance, Extensive Training & Support

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team at a fast-growing regional fast-casual concept known for fresh, made-to-order Mexican-inspired food and an extensive margarita program. Founded in 2011, the company has built a loyal following around great food, great drinks, hand-picked music, and a fun, high-energy atmosphere where guests are welcomed as friends.

This is a hands-on, floor-first leadership role partnering directly with the General Manager to run daily operations. The company is looking for high-integrity, high-energy people who take genuine pride in their work and in the experience they create for guests. Prior restaurant management or strong supervisory experience in fast casual or full service is preferred.

One notable quality-of-life advantage: the restaurant operates a single daily shift window and is closed on Sundays, meaning no overnight hours and a consistent, predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager to lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Run shifts and lead the team from the floor through peak lunch and dinner periods.
  • Deliver a consistently welcoming, high-energy guest experience and resolve concerns on the spot.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop hourly team members and shift leaders.
  • Support scheduling and labor management to match staffing to forecasted volume.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, freshness, portioning, and speed of service.
  • Oversee bar and margarita program execution, including responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving, product rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Execute opening, closing, and cash handling procedures accurately.
  • Help drive sales and support local community engagement and brand-building efforts.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-first culture and build bench strength for future growth.
