Job description

General Labor

We’re looking for General Labor employees who take pride in their work and want to be a part of a shop where the details actually matter.
Room to Grow
This role is a launch pad, not a dead end. Many of our team members start in General Labor and grow into skilled positions such as Production Fabricator and beyond. We promote from within and invest in team members who show up, improve every day, and take ownership of their work. Come learn a trade and build a career with us. If you’ve worked in a warehouse, on a job site, in landscaping, or anywhere hands-on, that experience fits right in here.
What You’ll Do
  • Material Handling and Packaging: Safely load, package and move materials and finished products.
  • Quality Control: Check finished work for chips, scratches, or flaws and make it right so every product meets TSS standards.
  • Measuring amp; Cutting: Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and shop tools to meet job specs.
  • Tools amp; Equipment: Operate and take care of a variety of shop tools and hand tools.

What We’re Looking For
  • Follows Instructions: Can read work orders, job drawings, and simple specs.
  • Basic Math: Solid basic math and comfortable reading a tape measure.
  • Good With Your Hands: Enjoys hands-on work; carpentry or fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Flexible: Can juggle a few tasks at once and keep pace in a busy shop.
  • Willing to Learn: Comfortable with technology and open to learning new tools and systems.

Physical Requirements amp; Work Environment
  • Lifting: Able to lift and handle at least 50 lbs.
  • Activity: On your feet standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift.
  • Safety: Safety glasses and safety shoes required at all times in production areas.
