Job description

The City of Three Rivers Department of Public Services is seeking a qualified individual for fulltime General Maintenance worker. This position is responsible for performing general labor tasks including, but not limited to street patching, sanitary sewer cleaning, mowing, trimming, brush cutting and removal, leaf collection and disposal, brush collection, maintenance of flower beds, snow removal, general care of City properties and other general manual labor and maintenance functions as directed. Must be able to operate a small dump truck with a trailer to haul equipment.
Minimum requirements: High school graduate or GED, MI Driver’s License, and possess the knowledge and ability to perform the job functions required for the position. The individual in this position must also be willing to work assigned shift hours and be available for evening and/or weekend work as required.
This is a full-time union position with a six (6) month probationary period.
