Job Overview

A general laborer in day labor staffing performs a variety of physical tasks to support project operations. This role is entry-level and often requires no prior specialized training, but physical fitness and the ability to follow instructions are essentialย 

Key Responsibilities
  • Performย general physical laborย such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materialsย 

  • Load and unloadย trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed

  • Assistย skilled tradespeopleย (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with setup, cleanup, and material handling

  • Prepare and cleanย job sites, removing debris and hazards

  • Operateย hand tools and power toolsย (drills, saws, grinders, jackhammers) safely
