Job description

CDR General Services is seeking reliable and hardworking Dock Associate to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and are committed to safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate will assist with loading and unloading freight, organizing materials, and ensuring efficient dock operations.

Job Details
  • Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70805
  • Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the warehouse or dock area.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (forklift experience is a plus, if applicable).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory organization and material handling as needed.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
  • Perform general warehouse and dock duties assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, dock, or general labor position preferred.
