Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Oskaloosa, IA. You will work inside a food-grade warehouse to load/unload trailers, move, store, and count merchandise, ensuring safety, security, productivity, and food safety standards, document properly.


Key Responsibilities


  • Safely operate forklifts, equipment, and attachments to move materials.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Locate and relocate merchandise to maximize warehouse space.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and record material movements.
  • Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
  • Help maintain warehouse cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and warehouse supervisors


Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse forklift experience listed on your resume
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a CRT stress test, physical, and drug screen
  • Ability to pass a 7-year national criminal background check
  • Ability to lift 50 to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and regularly get on and off a forklift
  • Basic math and computer skills
