OverviewFacilities Field Technician provides comprehensive maintenance support, including general repairs and construction-related work, to ensure a secure and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures
  • Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance (doors, windows, flooring, fixtures).
  • Carpentry: framing, drywall, painting, trim work, cabinetry installs.
  • Doors: Install frames, door slabs and commercial hardware.
  • General concrete knowledge of cutting, removal, placement and finishing
  • General Property maintenance: weed control, leaf and debris clean up
  • Support Life Safety compliance and infection control protocols.
  • Coordinate small capital projects and oversee vendors as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be licensed to drive without restrictions. 5+ years of multi-trade experience (maintenance, carpentry, construction). Proficiency or general knowledge in carpentry, drywall, painting, door hardware, electrical, plumbing, flooring. Valid driver s license and ability to travel between facilities. Preferred: experience in healthcare or senior living environments. Versatile and resourceful problem-solver. Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Safety-first mindset and customer-focused approach.
