The ideal candidate will work within our state-of-the-art emergency department, equipped with advanced technology and resources necessary for effective trauma and emergency care. As an onsite provider, you will encounter a diverse array of patients ranging from trauma victims to those presenting with acute medical conditions. Our emergency department operates under a collaborative model, ensuring that every team member contributes to comprehensive patient care.

• Promptly respond to trauma alerts, conducting initial patient evaluations and assessments.
• Stabilize patients experiencing critical conditions and provide life-saving interventions during emergencies.
• Assist the trauma team during resuscitation efforts, offering vital support in high-pressure situations.
• Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on findings.
• Administer necessary medications and treatments in compliance with physician guidelines.
• Take active part in collaborative care planning, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families concerning trauma recovery and care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities and treatment plans.
• Follow established infection control protocols to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Monitor patients' pain levels, managing discomfort effectively throughout their care journey.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have sustained trauma, including those from accidents, acute medical emergencies, or critical health situations. Our diverse patient demographic presents unique challenges and requires tailored approaches to care. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that patients receive prompt, compassionate, and quality care during critical moments.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field alongside an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of two years of experience in emergency medicine or trauma care is required.

• Hands-on experience with trauma assessment and stabilization protocols.
• Proven ability to perform trauma-related procedures under supervision.
• Prior experience in a high-acuity emergency setting preferred, with familiarity in triaging patients with complex needs.
• Engagement in continuous professional development and education related to trauma medicine.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for substantial benefits, including:
