Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Real Estate Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves working on various commercial real estate projects, contributing to the successful completion of high-quality buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in general construction, knowledge of safety practices, and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, from basic labor duties to more specialized activities, ensuring the timely and safe completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the construction and maintenance of commercial buildings, including offices, convenience stores, truck stops, hotels, and retail spaces.
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment such as forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials, and setting up scaffolding.
  • Perform snow removal for various commercial properties when required.
  • Work with construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of building structures and layouts.
  • Assist in the installation of building components including drywall, roofing, flooring, windows, and doors.
  • Follow safety procedures and standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and general contractors, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to complete construction tasks.
  • Manage materials and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and easily accessible.
  • Report any safety hazards, accidents, or delays to supervisors immediately.
  • Adhere to project timelines, working efficiently and effectively under pressure.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor or project manager.
