What is a General Contractor Apprentice?

A General Contractor Apprentice is an individual who is learning the trade of general contracting under the supervision of experienced contractors. Apprentices assist with various construction tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and basic carpentry or electrical work. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience and knowledge about managing construction projects, safety protocols, and building codes. Over time, apprentices gain the skills needed to advance in the construction industry and potentially become licensed general contractors themselves.
