Job description

Description The Monmouth County Building Maintenance Worker is an entry level position that is responsible for cleaning and maintaining County facilities and grounds. A great opportunity to grow within the Division and learn other skills and trades. All shifts available.

Duties include but are not limited to cleaning facilities, such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and emptying trash cans. Outdoor duties include mowing, trimming and maintaining County grounds. During winter months, duties include snow removal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Cleaning, dusting, mopping and sweeping assigned areas. -Ensuring bathrooms are cleaned and trash is emptied daily. -Performing minor repairs in plumbing and electrical.

-Assisting trades crews with building renovations and repairs. -Mowing, edging, trimming and maintaining County grounds. -Snow removal during winter months.
