MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

1. High school level math skills.

2. Ability to read a ruler preferred.

3. Ability to understand technical directions.

4. Ability to follow instructions, demonstrations, and practices.

5. Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.

6. Safety and quality conscious.

7. Good verbal and written communication skills.

B. EDUCATION AND TRAINING

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Learn and perform the necessary functions required to achieve acceptable levels of safety,

quality, productivity, and consistency. Perform all duties and functional responsibilities.

A. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Consistently exhibit proper work habits established during the initial training

period.

2. Accurately interpret work instructions as required.

3. Review label standards and/or boundary samples in order to determine which

parts are acceptable as required.

4. Complete all paperwork as required.

5. Assist assigned staff / coworkers as required.

6. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.

7. Assist in scheduled machine maintenance duties as required.

8. Report additional maintenance required to Maintenance staff or Supervisor.

9. Handle materials, tools and equipment with proper care and respect.

10. Clean ink stations, presses and press parts as required.

11. Communicate problems and discrepancies to Supervisor or Manager as necessary.

12. Process special rewind requirements for products as required.

13. Perform 100% inspection operation on jobs requiring such.

14. Responsible for assembly, shrink wrapping, labeling and miscellaneous bindery

duties.

15. Package jobs as required.

16. Enter necessary information, make and label boxes or individual units packaged.

17. Move product to the appropriate area when required.

18. Rewinding and/or rework as required.

19. Assist departmental personnel when necessary.

20. Comply with all pertinent departmental and company policies.

21. Perform any other duties as required.

PRIMARY SUPERVISOR: Pressroom Supervisor/Finishing Supervisor

TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR: Machine Operator / Assigned Trainer

INTERACTS WITH: Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Post-Production

AUTHORITY:

1. Stop/Report production runs if uncomfortable with the

safety, quality, waste or set up.
