What you’ll do:
  • Perform repairs and services on all makes and models of generator sets.
  • Conduct inspections, repairs, services, and start-up load bank test requirements on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and services generator components including alternators, wiring harnesses, safety devices, shutdown switches, and battery systems.
  • Apply proper engine technical skills in inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, assembly, diagnosis, and engine operating performance tests.
  • Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Kohler, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle inventory and able to travel throughout the local counties.
  • Respond to emergency service calls.

What you’ll bring:
  • 3+ years of service experience with power generation equipment.
  • Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operations.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams.
  • Preventative maintenance and service experience with ability to travel locally.
  • Valid driver's license.
