Artificial Intelligence AI Engineer – Gen AI, NLP

Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain Secret Clearance.

@Orchard LLC is anticipating a need for several AI Engineers experienced in Generative AT, and Natural Language Programming (NLP) to support the Federal Government on several remote assignments. Our objective is to identify qualified and interested prospects so that we are ready to react rapidly as needs arise. You will need to be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance.

Your responsibilities as a Data Engineer.

  • Design and implement GenAI-powered solutions (LLMs, embeddings, prompt orchestration)
  • Develop NLP pipelines and text-based data processing systems
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production data environments
  • Evaluate model performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Support deployment of AI solutions in mission-critical environments
  • Deliver client-facing data solutions in federal environments
  • Translate business needs into production-grade technical systems
  • Operate in Agile teams and support the full delivery lifecycle
  • Develop audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and technical artifacts
  • Contribute to Iberia’s internal platforms, accelerators, and innovation

Your background will include.

  • Experience in AI/ML engineering, analytics, or software development.
  • Experience with NLP, LLMs, or advanced analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical execution ability
  • Ability to operate effectively in client-facing consulting environments
  • Experience supporting federal or regulated environments

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities.

  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • API development and system integration
  • Familiarity with data governance, auditability, and secure data handling

Compensation: Compensation for this role will be determined based on the role level, plus your experience and qualifications. The expected base salary range is between $120K, & $230K. Generous benefits, bonus eligibility, and significant professional development support are all available.
