Role DetailsLocation: San Francisco, CA. This role is based 2 days per week out of our San Francisco, HQ and is not eligible for full-time remote work.Compensation: 

  • The IC2 base salary hiring range for this position is $135,000-$150,000 in addition to equity & benefits.
  • The IC3 base salary hiring range for this position is $171,000-$190,000 in addition to equity & benefits.
  • The IC4 base salary hiring range for this position is $198,000-$220,000 in addition to equity & benefits.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Embody our company values of ownership, velocity, customer centricity, diversity and transparency.
  • Own product features end-to-end alongside your product manager, engineering manager and designer.
  • Work primarily with Typescript, React, Python, GraphQL, Node, PostgreSQL.
  • Stay close to our customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers on your team and across Gem. For e.g. give and receive code reviews, review data model and architecture decisions.
  • Influence decisions and have direct impact on business outcomes.

  • You have 1–8 years of industry experience as a software engineer, building user-facing products.
