Description
Tactical Revolution, LLC designs and manufactures mission-critical tactical equipment used by U.S. military personnel, federal agencies, and law enforcement professionals around the world. Our products-including ballistic protection systems, tactical gear, and load-bearing equipment-are built to perform in demanding real-world environments.
We're seeking an experiencedIndustrial Sewing Machine Operator who takes pride in producing precision-crafted products with exceptional quality and consistency. If you enjoy hands-on manufacturing, working with industrial sewing equipment, and building products that make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture tactical and protective textile products
  • Sew heavy-duty materials including Cordura®, nylon webbing, hook & loop, binding tape, zippers, and reinforced assemblies
  • Operate specialty production equipment such as laser cutters, hot knives, bar tack machines, and other manufacturing equipment
  • Follow work orders, sewing patterns, technical drawings, and production instructions
  • Produce clean, accurate, and consistent stitching while maintaining high production standards
  • Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality, durability, and dimensional specifications
  • Perform routine machine maintenance including threading, bobbin changes, needle replacement, and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional industrial sewing experience
  • Experience operating industrial sewing machines (single needle, walking foot, bar tack, overlock/serger, or similar equipment)
  • Ability to sew multiple layers of heavy-duty materials with precision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to read and follow production instructions and sewing patterns
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Government contract requirement)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience manufacturing tactical gear, military equipment, backpacks, plate carriers, pouches, or load-bearing systems
  • Experience working with Cordura®, ballistic nylon, webbing, hook & loop, and other technical textiles
  • Experience operating automated cutting equipment, laser cutters, hot knives, or bar tack machines
  • Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment

The selected candidate must be authorized to access ITAR-controlled technical data and work on ITAR-restricted contracts.
