Job description

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Fleet Support Team (FST) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Comprehensive practical knowledge of principles and practices of Mechanical Systems including Environmental Control and Oxygen Systems, Auxiliary Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical, and Hydraulic Subsystems, Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Landing Gear and Launch and Arrest Systems associated with the E-2, C-2, or similar military aircraft. 2.) Comprehensive practical knowledge of and ability to apply the Naval Aviation Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level maintenance policies and procedures of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program. 3.) Comprehensive practical technical knowledge of tactical military aircraft and associated systems, industrial processes, aircraft maintenance concepts, and operational plans and their impact on logistics and maintenance programs.
