GEA Group, located in Pasadena, TX, is searching for a Compressor Rebuild Mechanic to join our team!
Responsibilities:
  • Performs tasks to rebuild/repair compressors without supervision such as: Compressor tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, parts cleaning.
  • Capable of identifying basic and intermediate issues.
  • Capable of resolving basic to intermediate issues with minimal supervisory support.
  • Coaches and provides expertise to resolve issues and ensures corrective action is implemented.
  • Executes simple tests of compressors without supervision.
  • Provides technical support to customers and service personnel.
  • Performs all work according to customer requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Profile / Qualifications
  • High school or technical school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience with refrigeration compressors (screw and/or piston/reciprocal).
  • Mechanical and/or machining experience preferred

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.46 - $40.62 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
