Qualifications

Required Education/Certification/Licensure:

  • High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Aide program is required.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to obtain as required by regulation prior to start of work.

Training and Experience:

  • One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long term care nursing assistant is preferred.

Job Knowledge:

  • Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills.
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
