Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Manager, Production Supervisor role reports directly to the SR Operations Leader and has responsibility for providing leadership for all assigned areas in the Capacitors operation including, but not limited to EHS, quality, service, productivity, inventory, lean and talent development. This role will be responsible for execution on a daily basis to drive plant and business goals to meet and/or exceed the business safety and growth requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Own and champion team safety record and culture
  • Continuous improvement of manufacturing metrics to include, quality, yield, COQ, variable productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Integrate lean methodology to identify inefficiencies and follow through on process improvements; Develop and drive a culture of lean management
  • Coordinate with local functional leaders to ensure efficient manufacturing operations
  • Work effectively with business leaders and commercial teams both onsite and offsite to drive customer satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and development to hourly team members
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve production, quality, and safety issues
  • Develop and maintain an open communication pattern to promote exchange of ideas with peers, team, and leadership
  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity while complying with company initiative and administering local policies
  • Optimize labor efficiency by driving competency development via cross training and flexing labor across product line.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidateโ€™s experience, education, and skill set.
