Job description


Job Title: Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
Location: Established Healthcare System
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join an expanding healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to optimizing patient outcomes through high-quality clinical care.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Call Schedule: Consult-only with no prenatal care or deliveries.
  • Shared Call: Support from a strong referral base within the network of OB-GYNs.
  • Patient Volume: Average of 80 outpatients per week.
  • Inpatient Consultations: Conducted at a single facility.
  • Potential outreach to surrounding areas.
  • Level 3 NICU on-site.
Procedures:
  • Amniocentesis required.
  • Preferred but not required procedures:
    • Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS).
    • Percutaneous Umbilical Cord Blood Sampling (PUBS).
    • Intrauterine Transfusion.
On-Site Equipment:
  • GE Voluson E10 and Viewpoint Software.
  • Cincinnati Children's Fetal Care Center is located just two hours away.
  • Full-time Genetic Counselor on staff.
Requirements
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Must possess an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state.
  • Experience in invasive MFM procedures required.
  • Ultrasound experience is highly recommended.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to provide personalized care and deliver favorable clinical outcomes.
