Job description

Kearney and Company is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team! Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for GCSS MC capabilities, processes, data structures, and functional workflows.
  • Lead the development, refinement, and validation of requirements for the GCSS MC replacement system.
  • Document current state logistics processes and system usage across supply, maintenance, and readiness workflows.
  • Identify capability gaps, pain points, and improvement opportunities in existing GCSS MC operations.
  • Translate operational and logistics needs into actionable system requirements and functional specifications.
  • Ensure that requirements align with audit readiness, including IT audit controls, financial statement (FS) audit considerations, and data traceability needs.
  • Support requirements workshops, design reviews, sprint planning, and adjudication sessions.
  • Provide expert insight into Marine Corps logistics policy, doctrine, and enterprise level processes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience to inlcude:
    • Experience with GCSS MC across functional areas (supply, maintenance, readiness, planning, etc.)
    • Extensive understanding of USMC logistics operations, policies, business rules, and end to end workflows
  • BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
  • Demonstrated experience defining, analyzing, or validating requirements for logistics or ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of IT audit and FS audit requirements, including internal controls, traceability, accountability, and compliance considerations for logistics and financial data
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex operational and system concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in DoD or USMC enterprise environments
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience contributing to system modernization or ERP replacement efforts
  • Familiarity with Oracle based logistics systems or other military logistics platforms
  • Experience conducting gap analyses, capability mapping, business process reengineering, or internal controls assessments

The expected salary range for this position is between $93,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
