Position Summary

As the GCS (Gas & Chemical Systems) Gas Supervisor at Samsung you will be responsible for safe operation of gas and chemical supply to the site. This includes leading a technician team responsible for the group's maintenance and project needs, and continuously improving in these areas as the leader of a world-class team.
In this position, you are responsible for being both a technical lead and a supervisor focused on daily and long term equipment management. You will achieve outstanding execution and safety performance in daily 24/7 maintenance of gas and chemical supply systems. You will coordinate with project teams to develop and execute projects to expand capacity and improve safety, and reliability in material supply. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain and improve equipment performance. You will be a champion of safety and world's-best performance in all work.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Leadamaintenancetechnicianteamwhoperformsinthefieldworkongasandchemicalsystems.

  • Overseeadvancedpreventativeandcorrectivemaintenance.

  • Leadandparticipateinsafetyinitiatives,programs,andactivitiestodriveworldclasssafetyperformance.

  • Troubleshoot,downtorootcause,highlycomplexissuesandprovidetechnicalreporttoengineeringteam.

  • SupportCapitalplanning,includingparticipatinginthedesignandselectionofequipmentandoptionsforlargescalesupplysystems.

  • Driveimprovementsinworkprocesses,equipmentandpartmanagement,employingleanprincipleseffectively.

  • SupportmanagementofCMMSforallassets,driveon-timePM(preventativemaintenance)completion,optimizePMstrategies.

  • Ensurecompliancetolocal,state,andnationalcodesandcompliancerequirements(includingPSM/RMP).

  • Supportmanagementanddevelopmentofannualexpensebudgets.

  • Supportcommercialnegotiationsandestablishmentoftermsrelatedtoservicesandprojects.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • 2Yearofcollege/technicalschoolorequivalentrelatedexperiencepreferred.

  • 6+yearsofexperienceinfacilitiesorhighvolumesemiconductormanufacturing(preferablyGCSrelevantexperience.

  • Strongtechnicalskillsandtheabilitytorepresentthegroupinworkcoordinationandexecution.

The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $124,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
