Job description

Title: Marketing - Studio Equipment Monitor

Job Description:

The Studio Equipment Monitor position provides support to the GCE Video/Photo teams through the scheduling, organization, and communication for video/photo production equipment. Employees will perform at the pace and efficiency of a commercial video/photo production rental house.

*This job will have consistent set scheduled hours. No late nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organization/ cleanliness of studio and workspace.
  • Maintain basic cleanliness/functionality of equipment.
  • Assemble reservation lists prior to a team member's pick-up.
  • Help oversee the check-out and check-in process of reservations.
  • Readily assist occupants in the studio as needed.
  • Assist in the flow of communication between production teams/ staff.
  • Assist crews infield for on-campus location shoots.
  • Alert fulltime staff to pressing/ urgent concerns regarding gear or studio space.

Education:

Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy.Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Employees who fall below minimum requirements may be subject to termination.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting: Up to 8 hours a day
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.

Pay Rate; Minimum Wage

Expected End Date: April 23rd, 2027
