Summer Internship Opportunity in Financial Services

Human Resources Intern: Employee Storytelling

Location(s):

Our internships are remote; however, we are targeting students in the West Michigan area for this particular opportunity as candidates may be asked to join periodic in person meetings over the course of the summer.

Role Type: Contracted positioned

Schedule: 10 Weeks, 40 Hours Weekly

Summary:

The Employee Storytelling Intern will identify, interview, and develop compelling stories about our employees-what they do, how they make an impact, and what makes them unique. This role supports both internal communications and employer brand efforts by turning real employee experiences into engaging written and visual content. The intern will conduct interviews, write short- and long-form stories, and adapt content, as needed, for multiple uses including web, newsletters, video, and internal campaign materials.

This internship is open to current college students and recent college graduates interested in communications, storytelling, and employee experience. The role requires strong self-motivation, collaboration, and time-management skills in a virtual environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently obtained Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, HR, or related field
  • Demonstrated academic success (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • Minimum academic standing of Sophomore
  • Active enrollment in accredited university

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong writing and interviewing skills
  • Comfort in remote collaboration and zoom meeting environments
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings
  • Internet Access: Candidates must have a stable wired Internet connection with a minimum download of 50 Mbps (megabits per second) for best performance. Wireless connectivity is also supported.
  • Hardware: Osaic uses a program (VDI, Virtual Desktop Interface) which is a secure access portal to all required tools, software, and sites to conduct required work tasks. It provides software needed as well through the interface. Candidates must provide a personal computer, laptops preferable but not required, that has the most up-to-date Operating System and Drivers. Windows 11 or higher, Mac OS 14 (Sonoma) or higher. Hardware requirements are at least 4 CPUs, 8 Gb of RAM, 128 GB of storage with at least 2 GB of free space.
