This position offers an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative team of experienced therapists in a remote medical detox center setting located in Pooler, Georgia. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client population, while also leveraging our established support systems to enhance your practice.

About the Organization

Gateway Behavioral Health Services has built a reputation for excellence in providing behavioral health care with an emphasis on compassion and professionalism. We are a cohesive team of licensed therapists and mental health professionals who pride ourselves on our strong relationships with community providers and our commitment to fostering an environment conducive to growth and healing. Our ethos revolves around meaningful client interactions that promote lasting recovery and overall well-being.

Work Environment

This position operates remotely, providing therapists the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while delivering therapy sessions. Our detox center is equipped with advanced technology, including a comprehensive electronic medical records (EMR) system, enabling seamless documentation and communication. You will have access to ongoing support from peers and administrative staff, alleviating the administrative burden of billing and insurance claims, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and couples therapy to clients, adjusting therapeutic approaches based on the unique needs of each individual or couple.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions in the EMR system, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Manage calendar appointments for ongoing client sessions, verifying attendance and adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate client needs.
  • Work closely with our billing team to handle claims, client accounts, benefit checks, and create payment plans to eliminate financial barriers to care.
  • Engage in regular supervision and consultation with colleagues to share insights, reinforce best practices, and enhance your therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The licensed clinical social worker will work with a varied client population that includes individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds seeking support for a wide range of behavioral health issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. Our clients represent all age demographics, and our approach is tailored to each client's unique circumstances to optimize their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure allowing for independent practice.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including established therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
  • Availability to maintain a full-time schedule, with a minimum commitment of 20-25 client hours per week and at least 2 evenings required.
Preferred Experience
  • Significant training or experience in couples therapy will be highly regarded.
  • A background working in a behavioral health or medical detox environment is advantageous, as it will enhance your understanding of the unique challenges faced by our clients.
  • Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual and couples therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. As a W2 employee, you will enjoy benefits that include:

  • Flexible work schedule allowing you to create your own hours.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage.
  • Fully supported overhead costs including office space, office supplies, and malpractice insurance.
  • Compensation based on an hourly rate, rewarding your commitment and expertise.
