SJ Ward Landscapes is looking for experienced Landscape Foreman who is committed to craftsmanship, leadership, and building exceptional landscapes.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership of every project, leads by example, and consistently delivers outstanding work with minimal oversight.
This is a position for someone who holds themselves—and their crew—to a high standard.
What You'll Do
  • Lead landscape construction projects from start to finish
  • Read plans, organize work, and keep projects on schedule
  • Oversee all aspects of landscape construction, including hardscapes, irrigation, grading, drainage, planting, lighting, and equipment operation
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
  • Represent SJ Ward Landscapes with professionalism and integrity
Who You Are
You take pride in your work because your reputation is attached to every project.
You believe quality matters.
You work efficiently without sacrificing craftsmanship.
You solve problems, communicate well, and keep your crew moving forward.
Most importantly, you're a leader—not just someone who tells people what to do.
You enjoy teaching others, sharing your knowledge, and helping your crew become better every day. You don't believe in gatekeeping skills. You understand that when your team grows, everyone wins.
You lead with accountability, respect, and a positive attitude, creating a crew that people want to be part of.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
  • Extensive experience in landscape construction
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Irrigation
    • Hardscape installation
    • Grading and drainage
    • Planting
    • Equipment operation
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
What We Offer
  • $35–$40+/hour, depending on experience
  • Year-round work
  • High-quality projects that you'll be proud to build
  • A company that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Opportunities for growth and leadership
If you're the type of foreman who raises the standard, develops the people around you, and takes pride in building exceptional landscapes, we'd love to meet you.
