Gate Attendant - $18.50 - $19.50

Per Mar Security is looking for qualified candidates for gate Security Officers in a home improvement store setting. The best candidates will be comfortable working independently. You are detail oriented and will have basic technology skills including the ability to operate a tablet.M-F: $18.50/HR SAT-SUN: $19.50/HR

  • Attend gate and provide access control for customers coming in and out of the back lot of the facility
  • Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility
  • Thoroughly examine vehicles as they enter the premises and make note of existing items within vehicles
  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Twice per shift, walk the yard and report any suspicious activities or criminal acts
  • Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

What youโ€™ll need:

- High School Diploma or GED.- State Security Officer License

- Valid driverโ€™s license and a good driving record.- Technical training or college education in the related field (preferred)
