As a Security Officer - Truck Gate, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Responsibilities of a Truck Gate Security Guard


  • Control and monitor access at the truck gate
  • Verify driver identification, credentials, and delivery paperwork
  • Log all inbound and outbound truck activity accurately
  • Inspect vehicles, trailers, and seals for security compliance
  • Enforce site rules, procedures, and traffic flow requirements
  • Communicate with drivers, site personnel, and supervision
  • Monitor gate security systems and report incidents or irregularities
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and professional gate environment

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of security experience preferred. 
  • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
  • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
  • You have a state license if required
