Job description

We are seeking a Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. We offer full and part time employment, all shift are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, trucks, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with security equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Valid California State BSIS issued Guard Card
  • Clean criminal background
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to deal with occasionally difficult people and maintain a calm/professional demeanor
  • Prior military experience are encouraged to apply
