Job Description
  • We are currently seeking an honest, self driven individual for our fast moving Gate Operator division. Self motivated and conscientious worker striving continually towards excellence in workmanship and time management. A team player who takes pride and ownership of work performance.
  • Knowledge and ability to do the following: Trench, pull wire, saw cut asphalt and concrete, mix concrete, dig holes, weld, install angle iron track, hang gates, straighten bent gates, etc.
  • Patch concrete and asphalt.
  • Service on all makes and models of gate operators, telephone entry systems, card readers, gate hardware and access control - related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failed access control equipment in the field.
  • Provide job layout recommendations and equipment locations.
  • Ability to program telephone entry systems, keypads and card readers.
  • Work with low voltage, 110 volt and 220 volt circuits, wiring and electrical panels.
  • Communicate confidently with management, support staff, customers, fellow employees, vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Self -starter who is able to work effectively without regularly needing to be told what to do.
  • Keep overall truck appearance (clean, organized, safe, handle company property and equipment with respect with safety first and maintain proper inventory levels on vehicle).
  • Be respectful and courteous to customers during service work and new installations.
  • Be respectful and courteous to fellow employees.
  • Use time efficiently keeping support staff advised of work conditions that might cause a project/job to take longer than scheduled.
  • Be on time to start your shift.
  • Able to fill out work orders, as built information, monitor job progress and other related company documents.
  • Able to lift 80 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass pre employment drug test and background check.
  • Valid NM driver's license and good driving record. No DUI or DWI permitted.
